TMCP #555: THE Pro-Touring Update with Larry Callahan – SEMA 2023 Preview – Pro-Touring Dinner – Ron Francis Goes To The OPTIMA Ultimate Street Car Invitational,

It’s once again is the quarterly Pro-Touring Update, Presented by Ron Francis Wiring, and starring Mr. Larry Callahan! Technically this is the 3rd quarter update, but with the schedules of events (and the possibility of something special in the first weekend of Oct) we needed to push it back a couple of weeks. I’m happy to say that the gamble was worth it! The focus of this update – as always – is to stay on the inside scoop of what is going on with Larry and The Pro-Touring community as well as getting the inside scoop on upcoming Pro-Touring (autocross) events for the end of 2023!

TMCP #461: Pro-Touring Update with Larry Callahan – Spring Autocross and Pro-Touring Events for 2021!

Larry Callahan is back! For 2021 Larry will be joining us quarterly in a feature interview to bring the latest Pro-Touring event information straight from Pro-Touring.com. Larry is the “OG” of the Pro-Touring social media movement and a dear friend. You can take what he says to the bank!

Upcoming Events: Larry was able to get a comprehensive list of events for this quarter and I have posted it below. He also said he would be adding links to it and hosting it on the Pro-Touring.com website. It is exciting to see so many events listed including many that are brand new while some events are older established events that are going to see a huge upswing in interest due to pent up frustration. It will be very interesting to see what new vehicles emerge freshly built and ready to race as well as old familiar vehicles with new updates bursting forth from sequestering garages. People are anxious to use their cars after a completely missed summer in 2020 and this year will be the one to watch and attend.

TMCP #354: Shannon Hudson of Redline Gauge Works; General Lee Gauge Restoration – Larry Callahan with the Pro-Touring Update and The First Drive AutoX Event!

In this episode of TMCP our feature guest is Shannon Hudson, Owner of Redline Gauge Works in Santa Clarita, CA. Shannon is a previous show guest from way back in episode 142. I asked him back on the show as a part of the update to the General Lee, because gauge restoration is what they do every day…and Shannon is also a huge Mopar fan in particular!

TMCP #287: DeLorean, Love Affair with a Time Machine, Gene Kopczyk – Pro-Touring Update

This weeks interview is with Gene Kopczyk, DeLorean aficionado and owner of car 2334. Gene admits to a childhood addiction to cars and fell in love at a young age when he watched Back to the Future and saw the DeLorean back out of the trailer. The thoughts of that scene still sends chills down his spine. He also watched “Better Off Dead and started looking for the 67 Camaro that was driven by John Cusack in the movie. The search for the car led Gene to contact me as a potential lead to finding the current owner.
