Kibbe and Friends
Welcome to the official Kibbe and Friends Show with Rob Kibbe, Justin “Corndog” Cornette, and producer Bernie McPartland! With this show, we’re basically setting up the Boar’s Nest for the entire automotive media world to swing through—for a couple of watered-down beers, stale popcorn, and some fantastic waitresses.
You can find every episode here on The MuscleCar Place, as well as on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, iHeartRadio, Pandora, and YouTube Music. From time to time we also post video clips and full shows on
The Kibbe and Friends YouTube channel. Click the “Download” link at the top of this post to stream directly to your phone, or subscribe via the

Here’s your automotive-pop-culture break from reality—with just enough Vegas glitter and Georgia red clay to make you hit “play.” Rob and Bernie are boots-on-the-ground at SEMA 2025 this week (sorry, Corndog!), so we picked the perfect companion for the trip: a re-review of The Dukes of Hazzard Season 1, Episode 12, “Route 711.” It’s casinos, semis, and sneaky scams—plus the General Lee getting thrashed in the cold open—wrapped in classic Season-1 charm. If you like your nostalgia with a side of fresh show chaos (ringing phones and all), this one’s your jam.
Then it’s SEMA survival school. Rob breaks down the reality of doing 10 interviews in a single day (spoiler: you won’t—unless every booth is magically in one aisle). Transit time eats souls, shiny parts are irresistible, and the pizza is…$50. We’re on-site hunting legit new-product surprises (RideTech’s A-body chassis is on the list to eyeball) and wheeling-n-dealing so we can bring you bigger, better shows next year.
The racing heart of this episode is Dallas Kibbe’s Legends Asphalt Nationals run in Las Vegas. Qualifying put him on the bubble, the heat race was a clinic—started P4, took the outside, rolled it like a boss, won—and the 35-lap main turned into a 45-minute demolition derby. A mid-race tangle sent him to the back, then a multi-car stack knocked out the radiator and toe. Tough ending, fantastic season.
Clay Millican’s mantra applies: control what you can, then send it. We’ll do a listener Legends party one day—just bring your sense of humor and maybe a set of training wheels.

Dukes Review: S1E12
“Route 7-11”
Dukes Review: Our Dukes re-review digs into why “Route 711” still works. Bo and Luke take a “shock absorber demo” job that’s really a rolling casino; Jesse Duke turns card-shark and roulette whisperer; and Cooter might secretly be the puppet master of Hazard County. It’s more plot than stunt—a Season 1 signature—with a famously battered General in the background and that gloriously rough-around-the-edges filmmaking (reversed shots, puddle tracks, and all). Ratings time? We flirt with a “no 7’s” policy to force real decisions; expect honest numbers and a few gasps when someone drops a six.
If you’re here for the feel-good fix of early-era Dukes, real-world racing highs and lows, and the annual SEMA hustle told by people who actually hoof it, this one delivers. Hit play for the full story, join us on future Patreon episodes for the uncut live experience, and drop a rating on Apple Podcasts to help more gearheads find the show. See you on the floor—and in Hazard.
