Kibbe and Friends
Welcome to the official Kibbe and Friends Show with Rob Kibbe, Justin “Corndog” Cornette, and producer Bernie McPartland! With this show, we’re basically setting up the Boar’s Nest for the entire automotive media world to swing through—for a couple of watered-down beers, stale popcorn, and some fantastic waitresses.
You can find every episode here on The MuscleCar Place, as well as on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, iHeartRadio, Pandora, and YouTube Music. From time to time we also post video clips and full shows on
The Kibbe and Friends YouTube channel. Click the “Download” link at the top of this post to stream directly to your phone, or subscribe via the

With Corndog off on a well-deserved getaway, Rob and Bernie take center stage — though not alone. Enter AI Corndog, a disturbingly self-assured digital replacement who somehow knows every General Lee VIN ever built and still finds time to insult Bernie mid-game. The “Automotive Celebrity Ancillary Birthday Game” becomes equal parts quiz show and comedy hour as the guys pit human wits against machine logic (and lose, gloriously).
But beneath the goofiness, the episode settles into what longtime listeners love most: stories that link decades of car culture together. The nostalgia hits hard when Rob dusts off an early John Schneider interview — the one where Corndog nervously fanboys over Bo Duke himself — and the conversation evolves from flag controversy and behind-the-scenes production details to how Schneider literally helped correct paint accuracy on the reunion General Lee. It’s the kind of deep-dive only this show can pull off: half shop talk, half time machine.
Rob and Bernie also set the stage for SEMA 2025, where they’ll be sharing a VRBO (not a casino) with Zip Simons of Street Metal Concepts and Kirk Hansen on media detail. There’s a grounded charm to their planning — swapping horror stories of rat-run hotels, reminiscing about Rob’s Chevelle debut in the Ron Francis Wiring booth, and laughing about the “industry parties” that somehow always end up being work. It’s real car-guy conversation with the weary excitement of two veterans heading back into the Vegas storm.
Then comes the episode’s crown jewel — a Patreon-exclusive preview from Corndog’s exhaustive research on every surviving screen-used General Lee. Even through snippets, it’s pure gold: car numbers, VIN mysteries, warehouse rumors, and the kind of obsessive detail that makes you realize why “Corndog’s brain” has practically become a trademark. For diehard Dukes fans, it’s like hearing a museum curator narrate his own classified archives.
