Bo and Luke Return! Season 5 Episode 19 of the Dukes of Hazzard. Image: Warner Bros

Dukes Review: S5E19 “Welcome Back, Bo ‘n’ Luke”

K&F Show Summary:

This episode dedicated in loving memory to Stanley Garrett Finnegan.

Fun-Fun: This is our final non Patreon episode before Thanksgiving…..so we did what had to be done: the best of the best from Planes, Trains, and Automobiles!

Dukes Review: As they said in Jurassic Park, Life Finds a Way. The universe has righted itself. The legal process of suing people until they sue you back for more, has worked. Bo and Luke are back in the General Lee and Coy and Vance have rode off into the sunset, never to be mentioned again. John Schneider and Tom Wopat may go down in history as the actors that set the precedent that would be used in film and TV forever going forward: bringing back a gone but beloved character. Remember Bobby Ewing on Dallas, or Han in the Fast and Furious? Ding ding ding! Also in this episode,  the Chevelle Cooter from Season 3 is back, but now it’s silver. And it has thermoquad carbs on it. 10 Corndogs!

Season 5 Episode 19
Welcome Back, Bo ‘n’ Luke
Written by Len Kauffman and Myles Wilder
Directed by Hollingsworth Morse
Original Airdate: 2/25/1983
