Holley Performance puts on some amazing events that people look forward to every year, all of which kicked off with the “OG” event called LS Fest. At that event any vehicle that had a General Motors LS engine was allowed, regardless of make, model, creed, color, or religion! Other events soon followed including LS Fest West in Las Vegas and this year LS Fest Texas at the Texas Motor Speedway!
Luckily for us we were able to send out the dynamic duo of Producer Bernie McPartland and YouTube star and performance vehicle magician Cody Young from Cody Crafted. The boys had only one goal: get some great interviews before the heat melted them to the asphalt. Dukes Review: The metaness of the multiverse – as now popularized in Spiderman 3 – and as categorized in the last episode – apparently came from the Dukes of Hazzard. This is the episode of the Dukes where Waylon Jennings, the real life show balladeer comes to visit Hazzard. And he does so, because he knows the Dukes. Because it turns out – this entire series – up to now – has been a real-time story telling of the Dukes to we the watching audience by Waylon Jennings. Meaning, he knows this is a TV show. Movie Review: Just when you thought you had heard every Santa origin possible….this is the one where they kill him, and could completely care less. No one is even sad. Dukes Review: This is the episode about the haves and have nots; the arrogant and unsatisfied rich against the humble yet content poor. When people reminisce back on The Dukes of Hazzard and say :this was a show you could let your kids watch safely,” this was the literal episode they meant. Horses are used as police cars. Enemies work together to fight and even bigger enemy. There’s a lesson in here about not starting forest fires that’s…helpful. Rosco’s real life daughter is the guest star. I wouldn’t say this one is not good….but I would say it’s not great. Or that good. I miss Season 2. The end.

This interview is the story of teaching himself to drive on two wheels, driving “BumbleBee” in the Transformers movie, and in prepping his Crown Vic General Lee #6 for the upcoming event at MOPARTY. He’ll be there to jump his GL – twice – and ski it as well! Why does he build Crown Vic’s instead of using real Chargers? Because….he’s a fan. He doesn’t want to kill another Charger!

Dukes Review: “Enos in Trouble” Say what you will about these Coy and Vance episodes, but the stunts are totally awesome and off the charts. We can barely recall what this episode was actually about, but it matters not. The General jumps a water truck, a log, some construction equipment, and each time successfully lands in our hearts. Paux Baxley episodes are light on plot and heavy on flying cars. We approve.
