Fresh Gear for a New Season Dallas Kibbe Racing Update

Dallas Kibbe Racing is back for 2026, and this week we pulled the wraps off Dallas’ brand-new Simpson racing suit. The new design carries over the scallop graphics from the race car and takes inspiration from the Hoonigan Subaru livery that caught our attention last season. It’s a clean look featuring support from The Muscle Car Place, Kibbe and Friends, Simple Tire, Lexani, Lionhart, and RBP, all wrapped into a package that’s ready for another year of asphalt racing competition.

Of course, unveiling a white racing suit immediately sparked a debate. While it looks fantastic fresh out of the box, the real question is how long it stays white once race season gets underway. Between tire rubber, dirt, fuel, race grime, and the occasional battle scar from climbing in and out of the car, we all agreed it probably won’t stay pristine for long. Still, the new sublimated suit technology has come a long way, allowing for sharper graphics and better durability than the older screen-printed uniforms Dallas has worn in previous seasons.

We also spent some time discussing the realities of modern racing safety equipment. As Dallas continues to move up through the ranks, safety remains a top priority. From his Simpson gear to his Stilo helmet and custom-fitted Hybrid head-and-neck restraint system, every piece of equipment is selected with one goal in mind: making sure he can race hard and come home safely. Racing may look glamorous from the grandstands, but behind every lap is a tremendous amount of preparation, equipment, and support from partners who help make the entire program possible.

If you’re attending the High Performance Expo (HPX) in Charlotte, be sure to stop by and say hello. Rob was scheduled to be on-site serving as a judge for the Performance Plus competition, while continuing to spread the word about Dallas Kibbe Racing and the partners who help keep the wheels turning. The 2026 season is already shaping up to be another exciting chapter, and we’re looking forward to sharing the journey with all of you.

The Dukes Of Hazzard – Episode Review:
“Money To Burn” S01E10

One of the joys of revisiting Season 1 of The Dukes of Hazzard is rediscovering the episodes that quietly introduced characters who would go on to become staples of Hazzard County. “Money to Burn” is one of those episodes. While the story centers around another one of Boss Hogg’s get-rich-quick schemes, it’s also notable for introducing fans to Cletus Hogg, played by the late Rick Hurst. Looking back now, it’s hard to imagine the series without him, but here we get to watch his first appearance as Boss Hogg’s well-meaning but not particularly effective cousin. As we’ve learned over the years, failing upward is practically a job qualification in Hazzard County, and Cletus fits right in from the start.

The plot revolves around a million dollars in worn-out currency that is scheduled to be destroyed and replaced with new cash. Boss Hogg, being Boss Hogg, sees an opportunity to turn a routine government transaction into a personal payday. His plan is simple in theory: keep the old money, collect the replacement money, file an insurance claim, and walk away richer than ever. Of course, any scheme involving Boss Hogg, Rosco, and a newly recruited Cletus is destined to go sideways. Before long, Bo and Luke find themselves caught in the middle of a million-dollar fraud case, trying to figure out how to expose the scam before they become the fall guys.

What makes this episode especially fun is the amount of action packed into it. The General Lee spends much of the episode being driven exactly the way it was intended to be driven—flat out, sideways, and over terrain that would make most car owners cringe. Watching the stunt team hustle the General across streams, dirt roads, and rocky creek beds reminds us just how fearless those early California-filmed episodes could be. Better yet, be sure to check out the behind-the-scenes creek jump photos included with this post, provided by Corndog himself. When it comes to Dukes of Hazzard history, production details, and stunt-car trivia, there may not be a better source anywhere. As we like to say around here, it’s the kind of insider scoop you only get from the man who knows all.

Another highlight is the arrival of Daisy Duke’s updated Road Runner, a car that immediately caught Corndog’s attention during our review. We spent some time discussing the unique history of Daisy’s Mopar and how it evolved throughout the series, making this episode an important one for Dukes car enthusiasts. Combined with the debut of Cletus Hogg, the strong stunt work, and one of Boss Hogg’s more memorable money-making schemes, “Money to Burn” delivers everything fans love about early Dukes episodes: memorable characters, creative storytelling, classic car action, and plenty of good-natured Hazzard County chaos.
