The criminal jumps into a passing General Lee as the first available getaway car. Boss assumes the Dukes are in on it. The crook takes the General, but offers to wash it and fill it with gas upon return. Bo and Luke learn the cork is actually a chicken farmer that bought bad farm equipment from Boss that cooked his eggs instead of making baby chickens. Hijinks ensue.

K&F Show #03: Our Review of Luke’s Love Story – S1 Episode 7 of The Dukes of Hazzard!

Bo and Luke enter the General Lee into an annual overland race where cheating, hitting, and stabbing is apparently fair game in order to win the race. Luke wins the rights to drive. A chick named Amy enters the race driving a Mustang named Lucifer. She also has a female mechanic. Fantastic 1970’s references about women’s abilities follow. Luke falls in love – in seconds – with her, asking her to commit to him but allowing him the “freedom” of fooling around with other women (remember – this is still Season 1 – and the wholesome values of the show haven’t kicked in yet.) Amy’s ex-boyfriend attempts to kill her during the race. Luke intervenes and stops him, but loses the race in the process. Boss Hogg’s dead mothers ashes are in the trophy cup for some reason. Hijinks ensue.

K&F Show #02: Our Review of Swamp Molly – S1 Episode 6 of The Dukes of Hazzard!

The Dukes are visited by an old friend names Swamp Molly. Molly and Jesse were former moonshine runners together. Molly needs Jesse’s help to make a “final run” that will allow her the finances to help a relative attend divinity school (or something like that). Jesse – known for his integrity – again breaks his vow to never run moonshine again and makes Bo and Luke do it. Rosco busts them in the process where it found they were unknowingly running guns and ammo, not moonshine. An ice cream truck is jumped into a lake. Hijinks ensue.
