2013 Ohio Muscle Car Challenge!

In this episode of the podcast we had the change to dig in deep to Bob Bertelsen’s recent Ohio Musclecar Challenge event. 31 total cars started the event, but 7 were lost to attrition throughout the day – which may be a new record for us! Another point of interest is that (perhaps for the first time) vehicles were seperated into “ABS” and “Non-ABS” class!

Here are a few interesting stats about the event itself:

Saturday everyone got 7 road races at 12 minutes each.
The road course at Pittsburgh International Race Complex is 1.6 miles long, has several elevation changes, and is a blast to drive.
The local church, The Upper Room Fellowship provided lunch
The VDA lot for the autocross track was 7 acres big.
All cars got 16 autocross runs – an UNHEARD OF number!
