Today’s Car: Super Clean ’68 Charger: Too Nice To Turn Into A General Lee!

Up for sale we have a 1968 Dodge Charger. In ’68 Dodge gave the Charger an all new look with curves around the front and rear panels and a new roof line. It kept the hide away head lights but went to the round tail lights. The one we have for you has had a full face lift with new paint and trim.

We will start off with the exterior of the Charger. At the time of the resto they pulled the doors, front end, and trunk to ensure a great job (we have pics of the build). Before paint they fitted with panels to ensure good gaps then it was painted in the ’69 Chry-B5 Blue Bright Blue Poly. After hours of buffing and polishing they installed new bumpers along with other trim. All the weather stripping was replaced along with a new black vinyl top that accents the paint perfectly. All the glass looks good along with the stainless. Also they added a set of the LED Tail Lights. It’s sitting on a set of MAG 500 Wheels and a set of red line tires.

Next, we will take a look at the interior of the ’68. Everything on the inside is done in black that flows perfectly from the exterior. It has the correct bucket seats and covers. Also, it has the factory console and shifter. It has the full gauge pach dash with the 150 Speedometer. As far as we can tell everything works right down to the clock and lights. As an added bonus it even retains the factory seat belts.

Finally, we will take a look at the driveline of the Dodge. Under the hood it’s powered by a 383 V8 that has been rebuilt. It has an aluminum intake with a Holley Carb and asset of mopar chrome valve covers and chrome breather. The trans is a fresh 727 Auto that’s mated to a 8 ¾ Rear End. All under the hood of this Charger is painter as it should be. The exhaust runs through a set of factory Big Manifolds and dual exhaust. This Charger has Power Steering and Power Disc Brakes. When you look under this Charger its rock solid with good pans and frame rails.
