Presented by Holley!
Holley is the official EFI source for Kibbe and Friends and is the PROUD sponsor of this episode! Their Terminator Stealth system on my General Lee is killing it. There’s a BRAND NEW MOPAR EVENT listed on their website that you need to save the date for as well: Sept 18-20 in Bowling Green, KY. Hint – there’s a General Lee jump!

Corndog’s ’66 Charger Upgrade:
Jeff Kauffman from Silversport Transmissions
K&F Show Summary:
This is a “special edition” of the show! We’re not reviewing a TV show or movie this time, but discussing the plans to upgrade Corndog’s ’66 “Moonrunner” Charger into the 21st century. Jeff Kauffman from Silversport Transmissions came on to talk about their A41 Stage II kit. As you may have guessed, the Stage II is a step up in power handling ability from Stage I and needed due to the super stout high compression and high lift cam combo small block in the car now. The goal is to tame the beast a bit! He discussed the differences required for Stage II, the kit components, and the super cool new standalone controller they use from Compushift (also included in the kit). It will allow control of the transmission for of a carbureted or fuel injected engine – and uses a bluetooth interface to your phone! The company can even do an in-person tech session through the app and help you tune it.
Even though rowing gears is super fun, Corndog wanted to keep an automatic to retain the factory console and to make it more practical for cruise events. He’ll be adding a Holley Sniper fuel injection system in the near months as well. Jeff is a friend of the show and was the man behind the A41 conversion in “Kibbe Lee” as well. Silversport’s bread and butter though is actually the TREMEC TKO 5-speed. He also just did an LS swap backed by a 6-speed manual in a squarebody S-10 truck that’s awesome. Full details are included in the interview!
We love the Silversport kits due to their fully engineered completeness. Check them out for all your needs – and if you don’t see a kit for your car just call them and talk through the options!
