Here at The MuscleCar Place we typically feature the ’60’s ’70’s era muscle cars that we all know and love…but truth be told, a lot of the new muscle that’s coming out of Detroit right now is stirring the same emotions that the old stuff does.
Since the 2010 Detroit Auto Show is being held this week, here is a little preview of what GM, Ford, and Chrysler (or specialty cars of each) have available. Be sure to check out the Saleen cars…..because I’m sure that in 1965 a few more people wish they had bought that “dressed up Mustang”…..i.e., the Shelby GT350!
Hopefully 575HP will be enough….(of not, the upgraded version has 725HP).
The “sedate” version of this Mustang has 470 hp and 427 ft-lb of torque….the “hot” one has 655 hp and 600 ft-lb of torque.
It’s over 500 HP (of course)….and it’s longer than the stock version!
