TMCP #621: The Moparty 2025 Spectacular! Paul Rossi – Direct Connection Drag Racer Legend, Steve Sparkman – Holley Performance Products, Dave Swearinger – Rust Bucket Restorations, Blake Anderman – Sublime Technologies

While Rob stayed back to support Dallas’s racing season, the Kibbe and Friends crew stormed Holley Moparty 2025 to capture the best stories on the grounds. From drag racing icon Paul Rossi sharing his trailblazing Mopar legacy, to Dave Swearinger’s track-ready “ZomBEE” Super Bee build, to new tech insights from Holley’s Steve Sparkman and Sublime’s Blake Anderman — this episode is packed with passion, horsepower, and the future of Mopar performance.
K&F Show #340: MOPARTY Recap! Vandemonium Win, Hemi Heaven, Autocross Chaos & Chats with Dylan McCool, Grant Skidmore & Tommy Boshers

MoParty 2025 delivered peak Mopar mayhem, and the Kibbe & Friends crew—minus Rob—brought the sights, sounds, and parking-lot “afterglow” straight to your speakers. Episode 340 opens with CornDog and Bernie’s unsupervised recap—late-night Hampton Inn vibes, fan-club grill action, and the now-legendary “Stand-In Kibbe” Iowa fact machine—setting a heat-soaked, laugh-heavy tone.
Promoter Jimi Day calls MoParty “America’s high-performance Mopar event,” and this year backed it up: autocross, speed-stop, drags, burnouts, monster-truck crush, parade laps, the mullet showdown, and the new circle-track headliner, Vandemonium. Crowds packed in, the sun didn’t quit, and the show never slowed.
On the field, highlights included ~35 Hemi cars in one lineup, a crisp white ’70 Road Runner pilot car, plenty of wagons, and lovable oddballs (mid-’70s Chargers, Cordobas, Magnums). Best of Show: a clean, purpose-built white Duster.
Vandemonium stole the night—YouTube’s Dylan McCool took the win in a 2016 A-Team-styled Caravan (proper cage, sticky tires, no ill-timed nitrous), and we grabbed him for a shade-tree chat on his “omelet C10,” shortened ’72 Challenger/buggy mash-up, and his dad’s hand-lettered Petty-blue ’70 Satellite. Fabrication fans will also dig Grant Skidmore’s lowered, Whipple-blown ’97 Jeep Cherokee XJ (AX15, leaf-under, 14.4 in the quarter), plus TV-vet-turned-creator Tommy Boshers’ family-built “Hemibago”—a ’71 Winnebago with a Hellcat, side-pipe cutouts, Road Runner horn, and delightfully retro interior.
Wrap it with classic K&F energy: Bernie’s news (NPD shout-out), a quick celeb game, and Rob’s home-front update—skipping MoParty to coach Dallas to a strong P2 at Elko. Subscribe on Apple Podcasts/YouTube Music, jump into Patreon at patreon.com/KFshow, and big thanks to Holley for making MoParty the fall’s can’t-miss event (Ford Intergalactic is up next).
TMCP #620: David Kruk And His 1970 Super Bee “Speedtech Equipped” AutoCross Monster!

David Kruk – 1970 Super Bee.
With the Holley MoParty kicking off in Bowling Green, Kentucky, we’re spotlighting longtime attendee David Kruk and his 1970 Dodge Super Bee. David and his wife Lizzie have become familiar faces at the event, showing off a car that’s logged over 80,000 miles and countless upgrades.
What started as a $400 parts-car rescue has turned into a full-blown autocross machine. The Super Bee has evolved from a tired 440 big block into a third-gen Hemi–powered, QA1-equipped racer that can hold its own against lighter cars on the track.
From the Columbus Goodguys to the Optima Ultimate Street Car Challenge, David has proven that a big yellow B-body can fly. Catch him this weekend at MoParty — whether it’s on the autocross course, drag strip, or just swapping stories with fellow Mopar fans.
Follow his adventures on Facebook.com/david.kruk.1, TikTok.com/@70beeracing, and YouTube.com/@david.ksuperbee. And if you’d like to park a mini version of his Super Bee on your shelf, Johnny Lightning now offers a scale replica of his car.
TMCP #587: Holley Moparty 2024 Live Show! Youtuber Dylan McCool’s Backwoods ’69 Charger, Blake Andermann ‘s Easy Engine Swap Kits, Superfan Stuntman Raymond Kohn’s Adventures of Flying the General Lee (29 Times)!

This special bonus episode on The Muscle Car Place is brought to you live from the Holley Moparty 2024 produced by FM3 event services at the Beech Bend raceway in Bowling Green Kentucky! All of your favorite show hosts and co-hosts loaded up and drove out to the birthplace of new Corvettes and the global headquarters of Holley Performance Products to see the fifth annual gathering of Mopar enthusiasts. Many old and new Dodge, Plymouth, Chrysler, AMC, and Jeep vehicles were there showing off just how unique this crowd can be. We got to show up and interview some of the interesting people there and bring it to you to get an idea of how the whole event went down.
This year the whole gang was able to get together and just hang out and have a great time with cars. Cody Young (@CodyCrafted ), Garrett Daniels (RnDFabworks.com), Nathan Warren (@warren_customs_llc ), Corndog, Bernie, and myself roamed around the Moparty event checking out the Drag Racing, Autocross, Swap meet and the amazing show cars. We got so much content that we put it into two shows. You can check it out on the Kibbe and Friends show episode 307 where we talk about the event and we interview the one and only Daisy Duke, Ms Catherine Bach! We met up with her only inches away from the “Kibbe Lee” and discussed the show and her life with the questions every Dukes fan wants to know.

Corndog’s Pick – Dukes Review: S1E2
“Daisy’s Song”
Note: This Dukes episode was originally reviewed by Rob Kibbe and Mike Finnegan in Episode 277 of The MuscleCar Place. It was part of the “DukesCast” segment…and predates the Kibbe and Friends show entirely! This episodes is THE episode with every last detail on the Daisy Roadrunner that Corndog is creating his replica of! His car will be at MOPARTY 2024 for Catherine Bach’s use!
K&F Show Summary: In this second ever episode of the Dukes of Hazzard we learn that Daisy Duke is an aspiring songstress. She spends her own money to have a song published, it is, and it is then recorded professionally but a real country singer.,……all so that we get to watch her show up in a 70’s one piece that is definitely still in fashion. Bo and Luke trick the bad guys into thinking Daisy can be an “AI” impersonator of real singers so they can then sell the now fake records for real money. And it turns out that the bad guys are really run by Boss Hogg, which is honeying up to women and trying to get in cahoots with – effectively – the mob! This may be the weirdest, coolest, and most true-to-it’s creator (Gy Waldron) episode ever…..and it has the full details on the Daisy RoadRunner that our man Corndog is preparing this very second.
10 Corndogs!

K&F Show #273: MOPARTY 2023 – Tony Angelo’s Flying 440!

Presented by Holley! This is a special edition of K&F and features a run down of everything we did at Holley Moparty 2023! Visit holley.com for more fun and details (and to shop for EFI!)
We came, we saw, we Mopartied! This event has become THE place for Mopar wackos with gather and enjoy all of the weirdness and greatness that Mopars bring. Its also a great place for people that love to thrash their cars on the dragstrip and autocross! We had a great time seeing and hanging out with listeners, as always. The only bummer of the whole trip is that it wasn’t long enough! We will feature several key interviews from the event on this week’s episode of The MuscleCar Place podcast.
This episode also features the one and only Tony Angelo. We all have known Tony’s escapades through his time with Motor Trend with Lucky Costa on Hot Rod Garage, and today he makes his living on his YouTube channel “StayTuned,” which you should subscribe to yesterday if you haven’t already.
He did make the event in his Dodge 440…..barely….and we were there to catch up and see what happened. We also learned from Tony just how badly Finnegan took the news when Corndog let him go from the podcast. No we feel worse. (Kibbe does. Corndog doesn’t. Bernie is indifferent, but happy to still not have to wear pants.)
