You’re The Driver:

An Audio Tour of What it’s like to RACE a OUSCI!

In this episode, I decided to something I’ve always wanted to do: let those of you who have always dreamed of racing in a big event like the Optima Ultimate Street Car Invitational feel like you were there, in the drivers seat.

During SEMA and at OUSCI, Bernie McPartland (producer of all shows on The MuscleCar Place network) was onsite and captured a ton of audio at different news, press releases, and even race events. As such, in this show we’ll going to do is bring in all of those of you in the audience who were not at SEMA or OUSCI in and take you through an audio tour of it all!

You’ll attend the USCA series winners announcement, the OUSCI Golden Ticket Award winners, we’ll take you through tech at OUSCI with Chris Wilhelm, go through the autocross explanation with Race Director Jimi Day, take a tour of the pits with Bernie and yours truly, get an explanation from Chad Reynolds on the Detroit Speed Road Rally, and then end with something incredibly cool to boot.

I know that for a lot of us, driving in one of these events is a bucket list item that for one reason or another is something we’ve never had the chance (or may never have the chance) to do). My hope is that this show will put you there along side all of the other racers!
