Featured Interview:
This is a big month! The Muscle Car Place welcomes a brand-new sponsor to the network this month, but this partnership is about far more than advertising banners and product mentions. We’re trying to be a part of something BIG. I sat down with Bridney Jordan, Property Brands and Product Manager for Lexani, Lionhart, and Rolling Big Power (RBP) to pull back the curtain on an industry every enthusiast depends on but few truly understand. From commercial trucking fleets to lifted trucks, EVs, muscle cars, and high-end luxury performance vehicles, Bridney brings a rare insider perspective into how modern tires are designed, marketed, tested, and ultimately trusted on the road.
Bridney’s path into the automotive world feels uniquely Detroit. Born and raised in the Motor City, she initially expected to land somewhere within the orbit of the Big Three automakers after college. Instead, an unexpected opportunity in commercial truck tires launched a career that would span more than a decade with one of the industry’s largest tire manufacturers (and you know the name). What started as a sales role quickly evolved into something much deeper, leading her into product management, engineering collaboration, field testing, and eventually the strategic development of entire tire lines.
One of the most compelling parts of the conversation centers on Bridney’s early years working truck tire territory across Nebraska and the Midwest. Selling commercial tires to fleets, farmers, truck stops, and retread facilities gave her a firsthand education not only in tire technology, but in relationship building and understanding how critical tire performance truly is to the people who rely on them daily. In the commercial world, a tire failure is not merely inconvenient. It can directly impact fuel economy targets, delivery schedules, profitability, and safety.
That deep technical and practical foundation eventually brought Bridney to Turbo Tires, where she now helps oversee the company’s proprietary brands including Lexani, Lionhart, and Rolling Big Power (RBP). What attracted her most was the challenge, specifically in that they had ambitious plans to rapidly expand and modernize their product lineup, introducing more than a dozen new tire lines across multiple categories in just a few years. For someone energized by innovation and product strategy, it was exactly the kind of challenge she wanted. Plus, this was her change to do what the “big guys” in the industry have done all along. She had seen the inside and knew that it wasn’t always what we all have assumed it was. Tires are a major business.
“You’ve got to stand behind that product and know what you’re talking about,” – Bridney Jordan
From Commercial Truck Tires to Product Strategy
One of the most eye-opening portions of the interview comes when Bridney explained how tires are developed differently depending on their intended use. In the commercial trucking world, functionality dominates every decision. Tire engineers focus intensely on durability, retreadability, fuel economy, tread wear patterns, and long-term operating cost. Unlike passenger car tires, commercial products are often expected to survive multiple life cycles through retreading programs.
Bridney discusses how commercial tire sales forced her to become fluent not only in the technical side of tires, but also in how customers actually use them in the real world. Working with fleets and dealers across the Midwest taught her how small changes in tire design could impact everything from fuel savings to vehicle stability and long-term operating expenses. For trucking companies, choosing the wrong tire can become an expensive mistake very quickly.
The conversation also explored the surprising realities behind major tire brands. According to Bridney , consumers often assume that the most heavily advertised tire companies automatically produce the best products across every category. In reality, each manufacturer has strengths and weaknesses depending on the application. Some brands excel in performance categories while others dominate in mileage, durability, or specialized commercial use. Just because it’s a brand name tire doesn’t mean it’s the best one!
Breaking Down the Brands – And Where To Buy Them!
Bridney explains that Lexani represents the company’s premium and trend-forward lineup. Originally tied closely to the custom wheel market, Lexani tires cater heavily toward luxury vehicles, performance cars, EVs, and exotic applications. The brand covers everything from ultra-high-performance summer tires to all-terrain and electric vehicle-specific designs. Aesthetics matter heavily here, with products designed not only to perform well but also to visually complement modern enthusiast builds.
Lionhart occupies a slightly different space within the company portfolio. Bridney described it as a more mainstream enthusiast brand aimed at drivers who still care deeply about appearance and performance but may not need the extreme sizing or specialized applications offered by Lexani. The lineup includes more traditional fitments, including hard-to-find smaller sizes that classic car owners often struggle to locate in today’s market.
For Muscle Car Place listeners, that detail may resonate strongly. Bridney pointed out that even older sizes like 14-inch passenger car tires remain available through Lionhart, helping owners keep vintage vehicles safely on the road without resorting exclusively to specialty reproduction tire companies.
Then there is Rolling Big Power, or RBP, the brand built squarely for lifted truck and off-road enthusiasts. Bridney laughed while explaining that she originally wanted the full “Rolling Big Power” name used more prominently because it perfectly captures the aggressive personality of the brand. Massive off-road tires, lifted trucks, rugged sidewall designs, mud terrains, all-terrains, and oversized fitments define the lineup.
All three brands are available easily from SimpleTire.com. There you’ll find the ability to sort out by vehicle, size, and get it shipped right to your shop (or front door)!
Why They Chose To Sponsor The Muscle Car Place
I asked why specifically they chose to partner with The Muscle Car Place network? Bridney’s answer reflects a genuine appreciation for automotive enthusiasm and storytelling. Growing up in Detroit surrounded by automotive culture gave her a strong connection to enthusiasts who preserve, restore, modify, and personalize vehicles simply because they love them. Whether it is a classic muscle car restored in a home garage or a modern truck carefully customized over years of ownership, she sees automotive passion as something deeply personal.
That emotional connection is what drew them toward The Muscle Car Place audience. Bridney explained that the company wanted to align with enthusiasts who truly care about their vehicles and want to understand the products they buy. Rather than focusing purely on advertising, the goal is to educate listeners and help them make informed decisions about tires, performance, and safety. Our listeners care, and actually give feedback!

Working in conjunction with SimpleTire.com, on TMCP they’ll specifically sponsor the Dallas Kibbe Racing Update. In fact, they’re already on his drivers suit! On the Kibbe and Friends Show they’re the presenting sponsor of Bernie on the Weather (I know, God help us all).
Final Thoughts
Bridney Jordan brings a unique perspective shaped by years inside both the commercial and consumer tire markets. Her blend of technical understanding, real-world sales experience, and enthusiasm for automotive culture makes for an engaging discussion that ranges from Nebraska trucking fleets to EV tire development, lifted trucks, luxury performance tires, and classic muscle cars.

Dallas Kibbe Racing Update
We’re headed south! This week’s Dallas Kibbe Racing Update presented by Lexani Tires, Lionhart Tires, and Rolling Big Power Tires — available through SimpleTire — focuses on the increasingly serious transition Dallas is making from local racing toward national-level competition. Rob shares the reality that succeeding in motorsports requires far more than simply being talented behind the wheel. This season is focused on competing against the toughest possible fields rather than chasing easier wins at smaller tracks. The strategy is clear: race against the best drivers available and continue building experience through difficult competition.
Upcoming races include the Showdown Series in North Carolina (next week), preparation for the Charlotte Summer Shootout, and Dallas’s first Late Model race in the Carolina Pro Series. Rob also previews his upcoming trip to the High Performance Expo (HPX) in Charlotte this June, where The MuscleCar Place will have a podcast presence while connecting with manufacturers, racing companies, and industry leaders from across the performance aftermarket world. The event represents exactly what Rob discusses throughout the episode — the value of live, in-person automotive experiences and the relationships built face-to-face within the industry.
