This is it! After waiting years to prepare we finally did a full review of the 2005 Dukes of Hazzard movie. This was a $50Million dollar big screen production of our favorite TV show, featuring our favorite car doing the best big screen performance any car has ever performed, ever (we’re looking your way, Bullitt). Other than the car…..this isn’t the TV series Dukes that you know. Boss Hogg (played by Burt Reynolds) is skinny. Rosco is mean, not goofy. Bo is scared of women. Luke can’t drive. Uncle Jesse is crass. But….if you can get past all of that and leave it for what it is, we loved it. Our man Corndog was onsite for the entire filming of the movie in Louisiana and had the full skinny on every car there that played the General Lee (all 27 of them).

<Dukes Review: This episode is the tested and proven example of what you should never look before you leap, but you should absolutely look before you sit on an unprotected syringe filled with sodium pentathol, better known as "Truth Serum." Actually, you should also just never sit on an unprotected syringe ever. Only bad things happen. Anyway, Boss Hogg gets an accidental dose of truth serum and nearly gets himself killed by uncontrollably confessing the truth to anyone who will listen. The Dukes save his life by having Tom Wopat take pictures of Catherine Bach whilst spread out on the General Lee in a fantastic return of her red bikini from Episode 1.

<Dukes Review: Here's the good news: this episode featured Miz Tissdale, the coolest 4-foot-10 actress ever on the Dukes. Here's the bad news: that was the only good news. This episode is a good example of why Tom Wopat and John Schneider were ready to walk out for better scripts. Anyway, here's the plot: Boss Hogg commits mail fraud, almost gets caught, frames Miz Tissdale (who is the Hazzard Postmistress version of Cliff Clavin), Bo and Luke get blamed too, and all the jumps are recycled. The music is pretty funny though, and Miz Tissdale is the greatest. The show is a 6, but she makes it a 9 solid Corndogs. Enjoy!
K&F Show #114: The Best of Finnegan’s Game Show’s; J.E.M. F/X Owner Elia Popov on Building the Dukes of Hazzard Movie General Lee’s!

Well….actually, this a little bit of the greatest hits from some of our previous game shows…..and if you’re not in a good mood by the end of these you probably need to seek counseling.
<Feature Interview: Elia Popov from J.E.M. F/X. This is a full interview done with Elia Popov, the man at the helm of JEM F/X – which is the company that built all of the movie General Lee's and coordinated it all to do their amazing stunts. This interview was conducted in full during the 2014 SEMA Show and was initially released on The MuscleCar Place Episode 231. For those of you that loved the movie, you'll love this. For those of you that loved the car most (like us), you'll REALLY LOVE it!

Dukes Review: Pin the Tail on the Dukes
This is yet another programmatic episode where the Dukes right a wrong by jumping a car. And by drifting a car where John Schneider is clearing slinging a flying 90 with pure perfection. And by Tom Wopat doing a Tarzan swing off of a roof where he is clearly doing the high stunt work. And that’s good. But what’s more good, nay, GREAT about this episode is the fantastic interaction between Sorrell Booke and James Best (Boss and Rosco) in this episode. They are Albert and Costello great in this episode! At one point Boss hides behind a pyramid of donuts. The show is a 6, but the interaction of those two gets is to 9 solid Corndogs. Enjoy!

K&F Show #110: KibbeLee Update with Nathan Warren and Dukes of Hazzard Review: S4E16 “Shine on Hazzard Moon”

HUGE NEWS! Stamps.com has come back in this episode as a show sponsor! Our man Corndog is over the moon thinking of the savings he will encounter when shipping rare Mopar parts to buyers everywhere. Let’s just say he’s a value shopper. For those of who like to sell parts online (especially eBay), this will be right up your alley of time and money saving awesomeness. Dukes Review: Shine on Hazzard Moon – We’re not going to lie. This is not a bad episode, but this is also not an episode you’ll come back to time and time again. Daisy isn’t in distress, the General is never at risk, etc. There are a few cool jumps though and one sweet shot of a police car landing while looking out the passenger window of the General lee, but that’s it. Well, wait. Wait. Totally wait. There is a freaking huge connection to Star Trek the Next Generation in here! I forgot about that. The conman in this show is played by an actor who has been on Star Trek. That at least led to a good discussion on why the NCC-1701-D was destroyed in the first Star Trek TNG movie. In conclusion, this Dukes episode is OK. 5 Corndogs.
Finally – the KibbeLee update from Mr. Nathan Warren at Warren Customs is in this episode…complete with a full update on our Season 2 pushbar (which he’ll make available for sale) to the failure encountered with Alsa spray chrome. It looks aluminum! Visit www.warrencustoms.com to speak with Nathan personally.
