News:
Late Model Racecraft (Houston, TX) set a “temporary” standing mile record this past Sunday, in their project 2000 Camaro owned by Kelly Bise. The Camaro went 253.1 mph, beating the previous event record of 251 mph.
Racing:
John gave a full recap from his win at the Bradenton, FL NMCA drag racing event!
Builds:
COMP’s Brian Reese may have just talked me into keeping my L92 a VVT motor, and he may have also talked me into keeping the truck intake. I’m delivering the motor to Allison Customs this weekend for fitment in my ’64 Chevelle!
John discussed that he’s over-researching the LY6 decision for his ’50 Merc project, but by the next show he promises to take action and (in his words) stop boring everyone.

FEATURE INTERVIEW
COMP Performance Group’s own Brian Reese joined us for the last half of the show and discussed all things LS related at CPG. We touched on regular cams, VVT cams, DOD cams, FAST intakes, RHS cylinder heads, and even computers.
Before his time at COMP Brian worked for GM and SLP, and he’s been an LS fan since they day they came out. In his words he’s spent most of his career making LS parts one way or another!
