The New Vette
In this show we discussed the only topic we should have – the new 2014 Corvette! We went through our thoughts on the debut of the car, the new “iPad like” instrument cluster, the exterior, and….well, pretty much everything. The Corvette has always been the gold standard in our industry, and it looks like the 2014 Vette is up to the task.
As a side note, this show was recorded during the course of the Barrett-Jackson 2013 January auction. On Saturday the 19th (after our show recording) Mr. Rick Hendrick (Hendrick Motorsports) purchased the first 2014 Corvette during the auction, a car that has yet to be built (he’ll get the car when it’s build). Rick paid $1.05M for the opportunity and the proceeds will go directly to the College for Creative Studies in Detroit, one of the nation’s top schools for training designers for the auto industry.
