Today’s Car: All original 1970 GTO Convertible BARN FIND – Disassembled but Complete and Last Registered in 1982!
*Note: All Text Taken From the eBay Ad*
Up for auction is a real “barn find” 1970 GTO convertible! This is a completely ORIGINAL GTO convertible. Just the way it came from the factory. This is an estate sale. The car was found literally in the barn, along with another GTO, a 455 convertible with an auto tranny, and a 1946 Ford panel car. The GTO was last registered in 1982. The manifold, carburetor, heads, block, 4 speed transmission, and rear end are all included and are the original parts that the car was born with. The vin is 242. The block has the WT stamp on the front. As you can see, there is no damage to the car anywhere. The frame is solid as is the rest of the body with very little rust any place. The rear bumper just needs to be re-chromed for a show car. There is nothing missing. The front clip is included although not shown. In my opinion, this car could be restored without any replacement body panels.
