NO RESERVE AUCTION…1985 BUICK GRAND NATIONAL PROJECT CAR WILL SELL TO HIGHEST BIDDER! Very rare Buick Grand National with 2102 produced in 1985. Original 3.8L Turbo V6, 200-4R auto trans, big 8.5″ 3.42 Posi / limited slip rear, and original factory aluminum rims. Car has approx. 122,800 miles. Previous owner left parked outside on driveway unused in brutal Florida weather for 3-4 years. (His prior registration had expired 3 years ago) Gas tank removed, drained, brand new AC Delco fuel pump installed , and brand new fuel injectors installed.
Car runs but still needs restored- it is a project car. Transmission shifts fine. Engine sound great but it does get hot when ran for a while ( no coolant in oil). Still needs mechanical work: should have new plugs, wires, t-stat, possible radiator, etc. Interior is incomplete missing the door panels, upper rear door and sail panels, back seat, horn button, dash pieces, door sill plates, and other misc. Has digital instrument cluster that does not work properly. The frame, rockers, and underside are solid and look good. A few small rust holes in bottom of trunk spare tire basin (refer to picture). Nice exhaust with Borla stainless steel mufflers- sounds great. Body does have rust around roof, bottom of drivers door, drivers quarter panel (refer to picture), deck lid, etc. Had one repaint years ago. This is a “barn find” driveway find project car that has been neglected for several years and needs a lot to be fully functional and roadworthy. Clean Florida title.
